For 335 years, 20 Wars, 100 Major Battles, a nation's tale, Through storms of war, with winds that wail. From valleys deep to mountains high, They fought beneath our flag and sky. Twenty wars, their bred, the blue. Through trials faced and battles won, Their courage burned as bright as sun. Each victory etched, a legacy made, The lives, the price of freedom paid. One nation strong, united we stand, Bound by the brave who gave this land. One flag that soars, its colors bright, A symbol of their endless fight. So today we pause, with hearts that pray, Honoring heroes on Memorial Day. For their service, their love, their endless grace, They've secured our home, our sacred place.     Nearly 1 in 4 active duty members showed signs of a mental health condition, according to a 2014 study in JAMA Psychiatry. My journey, marked by both the privilege of serving in the Air Force and the adversity of homelessness, has uniquely positioned me to empathize with and serve my fellow veterans. The creative outlet I discovered in graphic design has become a powerful tool for healing and connection.

I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize my skills to craft artwork that brings joy and happiness to those who have sacrificed so much.
